Raymond Lam was born into a Chinese performing arts family, and is highly influenced by his dad’s career success.  After university education, Raymond joined Chinarts Dance Association and Chi-Ping Dance Group in Toronto, and was one of the Board Members of both organizations.  He is the stage manager and lighting designer for many Cantonese Opera and Chinese Dance performances since 1997, and was also the Cantonese Opera program host of Fairchild Radio in Toronto.

Raymond has great passion in Chinese arts and culture, and would like to promote and share it with everyone in foreign countries.  He participated in dance performances, festivals and competitions in Toronto, Calgary, Mexico, Macau, and Hong Kong.  Raymond Lam established Chinese Collective Arts Association with his fellow dancers and has been the Founding President since 2009.  Hoping through our association as a platform, Chinese cultural arts will be more recognized and aware by general in public, and the colourful heritage will be continue to future generations.
